Czech participation at the World Defense Show 2024
The World Defense Show 2024 was held in Saudi Arabia from 4-8 February. It is an international defense industry trade fair that, in addition to showcasing the latest equipment and technologies in the defense industry, also provides a unique platform for networking, partnerships, knowledge sharing and discovering new innovations and capabilities in all areas of defense.

Various companies from all over the world from all possible sectors of the defence industry were present at the fair. In several large pavilions there was a lot of interesting technology on display, especially from companies from Turkey, the United Arab Emirates , Korea or China. However, there was also representation of large established companies and arms manufacturers from the USA and Europe.
The Czech Republic was also represented at this prestigious trade fair, for example in the form of a presentation of a selected portfolio of products of the industrial-technological group CSG, the holding Colt CZ Group or the companies MESIT, PBS Velká Bíteš or SVOS.
The aforementioned CSG holding had the largest representation at this year's World Defence Show in the form of presentations of products of the Kopřivnice-based company Tatra Trucks, the Sternberg-based Excalibur Army, the Pardubice-based company Retia or the Italian company Fiocchi. There was also great interest in the offer of medium and large calibre ammunition from MSM Group and FMG, where the CSG Defence division presented, among other things, the provision of the complete life cycle of ammunition, including the verification of the functionality of old ammunition or delaboration.
This year's World Defense Show once again confirmed the importance of this type of event, where the most important representatives of the global defense industry gathered in one place to present their current and future product portfolio and establish new business contacts.
